Situated on the same parcel of land as a Mercy Centre (School), a Mercy Chapel seves three important purposes.  First, it is a church in which local people can meet on the weekends for worship.  Second, it is an itegral part of school life where students meet for assemblies and it keeps them cool in the summer and dry during the monsoons.  Finally it serves as a hub of community life.
