Upset tummies, scraped knees and just not feeling well were all part of most childhoods. Life in Calcutta can be far more dangerous for a small child. Tuberculosis, sun stroke, stomach disorders and raging fevers are killers for many children in India today. Operating a nurse's room at the Calcutta Mercy Centre will help us to help the children who live and play near the germ invested city landfill. It takes a thousand dollars a month to operate the facility right on site at the new school.

This gift will provide the operational expenses for one month of the Mercy Clinic located in the Calcutta Mercy Centre.
